MR HARRY WONG

Associate 
As an associate in our Intellectual Property group in Hong Kong, I assist clients in contentious and non-contentious IP works.     On the contentious front, my practice covers multi-jurisdictional disputes over the use of cellular technology across the Asia Pacific region, local software licensing disputes, infringement of copyrights and design rights as well as brand protection matters.  On the transactional and advisory front, I assist clients with monetisation of their creative works and licensing of media and broadcasting rights, and provide regulatory advice from the perspective of marketing, advertisement, and trade description.   Leveraging on Bird & Bird’s full-service and sector-focused IP offering, I work with clients across a broad range of sectors, including Technology & Communications, Media, Entertainment & Sport, Retail & Consumer and Financial Services.  I am also a member of the working group in the Hong Kong office supporting local start-up communities.   

MS NICHOLLE YU

Legal Assistant 
I am a legal assistant (pending admission as associate) of the intellectual property group in Hong Kong and have been involved in a range of contentious and non-contentious IP work.
 
I have worked on matters including reviewing, preparing and drafting local licence agreements relating to intellectual property rights, enforcement matters involving trademark infringement, invalidation and revocation actions, regulatory advice for pharmaceutical companies and intellectual property advisory work.
 
I have worked with clients across a broad range of sectors, including technology and communications, retail and consumer and life sciences. 

MS VENUS WY LAM

Trainee Associate
I am currently working as a trainee associate in the intellectual property group in Hong Kong, where I assist clients with a range of intellectual property services, including brand protection, enforcement matters relating to trade mark infringement, and other advisory work.  With a keen interest in healthcare sector as a registered pharmacist in both Hong Kong and United Kingdom, I have also assisted in providing regulatory advice for pharmaceutical companies.  I was previously trained in corporate & commercial and dispute resolution groups before joining the intellectual property group, and have worked with clients across various sectors, including life science, technology & communications, media, entertainment & sport, and financial services.
