This workshop empowers banking professionals, developers and AI enthusiasts to build AI-powered smart assistants using Alibaba Qwen, Poe.com (for prompt optimization and context engineering), xAI’s Grok 3 with DeepSearch and Workspace for tasks like customer query resolution and financial analysis.

What to learn in this workshop?


Through hands-on labs and collaborative group exercises, participants will design functional prototypes that tackle the financial sector’s growing demand for operational efficiency and personalized services – tailored to the unique needs of Hong Kong’s dynamic market. 
 
The curriculum combines theory (20%), immersive hands-on labs (60%) and collaborative exercises (20%) to engage a diverse range of learners.  Comprehensive learning materials (including code templates and datasets) support beginners while offering scalable challenges for advanced users.  By harnessing elibaba Qwen’s advanced generative AI, Poe.com’s powerful optimization tools and Grok 3’s dynamic real-time data, participants will acquire practical, future-ready skills to drive innovation in banking – keeping pace with global trend in AI adoption.

Session 1: AI in Banking and Prompt Optimization with Poe.com 


Objective: Understand AI’s role in banking and master prompt optimization using Poe.com

Session 2: Building a Conversational AI Assistant with Alibaba Qwen and Grok 3 


Objective: Develop a banking-focused AI assistant using Alibaba Qwen and Grok 3’s DeepSearch

 Key Topics: 
•  Alibaba Qwen’s generative AI for conversational banking tasks
•  Grok 3’s DeepSearch for real-time financial data (e.g. market trends from X)
•  Integrating Qwen and Grok 3 for a cohesive assistant  


Session 3: Collaborative Deployment with Grok 3’s Workspace


Objective: Deploy an AI assistant collaboratively using Workspace

 Key Topics: 
•  Workspace for team-based AI development and testing
•  Refining Qwen-based assistants with Poe.com-optimized prompts  
•  Ethical considerations: bias, privacy and compliance in banking AI
