Salina began her IP training at a large IP firm in Osaka where she served many leading multinational pharmaceutical companies and institutions. She is particularly experienced in helping individual clients, start-ups, government bodies and tertiary institutions in building up and managing their global IP portfolios.
 
She has extensive knowledge in worldwide patent practice and assisted clients in drafting original patent specifications, prosecuting patent applications, providing patentability searches and opinions, filing strategy and portfolio management. At ELLALAN, she focuses in handling patent licensing, technology transfer, patent invalidation and infringement analysis and assisting listed companies and conglomerates in patent litigation and invalidation proceedings in Hong Kong and the Mainland China.
 
Salina is a core member of our Life Science team. She has worked with a wide range of biotech related areas, namely technologies spanning biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology, microbiology, traditional Chinese medicine, nanotechnology, medical and mechanical devices.
