James is the Senior Associate of a Hong Kong IP specialist law firm, ELLALAN. Qualified in Hong Kong as a practising solicitor, he specialises in handling IP enforcement, contentious and advisory matters.

James advised a number of high profile clients from the fashion industry (e.g. Louis Vuitton, Celine, Loewe, Givenchy, Michael Kors, Versace etc.), the technology industry (e.g. Alibaba, Gogovan) and the entertainment industry (e.g. Hong Kong Recording Industry Alliance (representing Universal, Sony, Warner etc.) and Motion Pictures Licensing Corporation (e.g. representing Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, CNN etc.).
